How to Use Weed with Class

If you are fortunate enough to live in an area where the recreational use of cannabis is permitted, then it is likely that soon you will have an opportunity to partake. If you have experience with weed, then this shouldn’t be much of a problem for you, although these days there are lots of new products, strains, and devices to use. It used to be a pack of rollies and a Bic lighter was the whole kit. But this is a new day, and there are probably some things that you are unaware of. Here is some basic information about cannabis use in the 20’s.

  • Cannabis has Changed: If your last experience with pot was at college 30 years ago, you will be shocked to see the variety of ways there are to purchase and use cannabis. And not only that, but cannabis has also gotten stronger. It used to be you would need to smoke a few joints just to get a buzz, these days you can get high on a single hit, if it is the right stuff. And now there are edibles, vapes, tinctures, sprays, patches, and many more unique ways to get THC into your bloodstream. If you are going to experiment with these, it would be good to have an experienced friend to show you the ropes.
  • Paraphernalia: There were always products around to aid in the use of smoking weed, but mostly these were pipes, and bongs, and papers. These days Cannabis is a multibillion-dollar industry, and new products are popping up daily. An Internet search will help you learn the nuances of bongs, lighters, peace pipes, grinders and the various other devices that are the tools of the hobby.
  • Discretion is Best: There are many things in this world that are legal, but we don’t always want to share in your experience of them. Just like many of the things people do for pleasure. Using Cannabis is best done with like-minded friends in private places. Not only do sober people find stoned people to be annoying, if not offensive. Cannabis smoke has an odour that some enjoy, but it’s not for everyone.

If you are new to cannabis, you may discover that it turns you into a bit of a giggler, a sharer of personal observations, and a shameless junk foodie. This is funny the first couple of times, but you really need to learn how to control your buzz. It is very much like alcohol; you need to learn how to function without making a big deal about the effects. Like everything, you will need some practice before you can be cool with it.
